Striving toward excellent programming

STEP Funding - Eligibility process

  • Be a UWAMOV funded partner or apply for an exemption to this requirement by emailing the United Way Executive Director directly.

  • Attend the Lifecyles workshop with Nonprofits LEAD

  • Submit your self-assessment to United Way Executive Director

Once you have completed all of the requirements above, you will be eligible to apply for STEP programming assistance with any of our preferred partners.

Complete the programming assistance application (below) and it will be routed to the United Way ED for review. You will receive a response within seven business days of submission. The response will outline payment terms, etc. Retroactive payment will not be made for any training attended without prior written approval. Not all submission will be approved; not all submission will be approved at full cost.

United Way funded partners will also receive the opportunity to attend top-level programming from NPL throughout the year at deeply discounted rates.

At any point that a Partner Agency is not in good standing and eligible for payments/reimbursements, they will simultaneously be ineligible for STEP assistance.
