So how does United Way work exactly?
Your United way works strategically with local nonprofits, corporations, and individuals to bring all of the players together.
It’s never easy (and never boring), but we work with hundreds of people every single week to ensure your United Way is addressing systemic issues that impact us all.
Think of it like this: we put the team together, make sure we have the right coaches, draft the best players, and then analyze the game results often to make adjustments!

To achieve the kind of results you get with United Way, it takes donors of all levels - from the $25 checks once a year to those who can give $25,000 or more. We work with every donor to find the level of gift that’s meaningful to you – and then show you how your dollar made a difference!

In any given week, you’ll find a member of team out in the community – meeting with stakeholders, listening to pressing issues, collaborating to solve big challenges, and discovering new ways that your United Way can improve the quality of life where you live, work, and play.
